Pay-Per-Action Ads may open up Google to being a victim of fraud

I was just reading Barry Schwartz’s report that Google is opting-in some AdSense publishers into Pay Per Action (CPA) ads. He poses the question of why would Google push these ads on the publishers who haven’t asked for it? The immediate answer I come up with is that this could actually be a test to try to detect fraud, since CPA is thought to be less prone to exploit. After all, the publisher would only get paid for these ads if someone buys - not just clicks on the ads on their sites. Perhaps the publishers that are getting opted-in are ones for which Google has had some question about the quality of click-through in their regular PPC ads.
I’ve been thinking that an unpublished problem with Google’s pay-per-action product is that Google itself is likely to become more a victim of fraud with these types of ads. Read on and I’ll describe…

I haven’t signed up for Google’s pay-per-action ads, so I’m basing this on what I know about how CPA ads would be integrated with an advertiser in general. As I understand it, Google needs to be able to detect when a particular action such as a sale in an online catalog has been completed. In order to do this, Google likely has the advertiser install a little bug onto an exit page in their shopping cart. So, when a person who has clicked through an ad completes an order, this bug would detect when the customer passes through the “Thank you for your Purchase” page or something similar at the end of the advertiser’s shopping cart process.
So, Google and the publishers of Google’s ads, depend on that reporting bug in the shopping cart exit page to be present in order for them to account for each billable “action” to be completed. If the advertiser leaves that bug off the page, Google and thead publishers would not be paid for all the customer referrals they’re sending to the advertiser.
Now, Google likely has some sort of validation process at the beginning to ensure that the bugs are installed at the beginning of pay-per-action ad campaigns. But, after initial validation, how would they tell if the bugs are present? Naturally, it would be questionable if Google is sending lots of click-throughs/referrals to the advertiser’s site and none of those converted. But, what if the advertiser is randomly displaying the tracking bug on their checkout pages only half the time, or one-third, or one-fourth? Google surely couldn’t always detect the lack of the tracking bug.

If an advertiser did this sort of an exploit, they could get a lot of free advertising at the expense of Google and AdSense publishers.

Now, I posed this exploit theory to my colleague, Alan Rimm-Kaufman who is an expert in the paid search industry, and it only took him about five seconds to find a major flaw in my thinking. According to him, this could indeed potentially give an advertiser some free advertising exposure, but it would eventually bite them, since their apparent conversion rate would be lower than Google’s threshold, which would ding the advertisement’s Quality Score. Once this happened, the ranking of the ads would start dropping and their cost to the advertiser would increase, counteracting the value of cheating.

Alan’s surely right, but I don’t think this entirely discounts my concern. There will surely be other people who would realize the same chain of reasoning I had: if the tracking bug isn’t present at checkout, an advertiser won’t get charged anything. There are likely to be some number of advertisers who are unethical enough to do this while also being so unsophisticated as to not realize that they may eventually end up getting charged more. Some of them might even not care about the eventual impact, and be entirely happy with getting loads of advertising at half-cost, third-cost, or quarter-cost.

If I’m right, pay-for-action ads appears to turn the big fraud problem with internet advertising completely on it’s head - advertisers wouldn’t need to be concerned so much with paying for invalid clicks, but Google and AdSense publishers now have to worry about being cheated by advertisers!

Make Money Online With Your own Information Product

Creating an information product for the first time may seem to be a daunting task, but it is also the most profitable way to go!

Going through the web will bring up a lot of information but it is difficult to understand howexactly to go about it. This is where a step-by-step concise guide comes handy. This is exactly what you will find in this article.

The first step, before getting into the actual product creation is the mindset. The right mindset goes a long way in ensuring the success of your product. If one has been in Internet marketing for long and has a list to sell this to, it is easy, but when one is new and has no list, it takes a lot of hard work and some good elbow grease! Never ever get started thinking this is going to be easy. Have faith and leap into it with the dedication and commitment that is required. See it through no matter how much time it takes, one week, two weeks or a month. The first product is always the most difficult to create and let me stress that it gets only easier, especially if the first one is a success. Ensuring its success is in your hands.

The second and most important step is one of the most talked about subjects. Finding a hungry niche. With the first product, it is always best to go with a niche that you have an interest and knowledge in. There may be several niches that are profitable, but pick one that you are passionate about. This makes things easier. After choosing a niche, check if people are interested in that niche. Use keyword tools, of which several are available, and find out the number of searches that are made for that niche and how much competition there is. Make sure the niche search results have at least 2000 searches or more. This shows that people are keen on finding information related to that niche. If it is a very small niche (less searches), then think of something else that has good search results and less competition. Choose at least ‘key phrases’ that people are looking for in that niche and note them down. Do not pick anything with too much competition for the first information product. Once you gain a little experience, you can get bold.

Once the niche and the five key phrases are ready, next step is to start writing the ebook. How do you go about it? How would you know what chapters to have in your book?

This is where Yahoo answers comes in. If you have heard of it, you would know that people ask questions and find answers to those questions, and it is an excellent resource to learn what people want to know within a particular niche. This is an awesome tool to find chapters for the ebook.

Suppose you are writing about ‘dog training’. Type that in the search bar and yahoo will bring up several questions on the dog training topic. The amount of chapters for your book should be based on the number of questions being asked, but about 5 or 6 chapters with decent content should be good enough. Note down 5 or 6 important questions that are being asked and these will be your chapters. There may be a lot more but since this is your first book, concentrate on a few.

There should be chapters for the ebook and also good titles for each chapter. Creating content for each chapter comes next.

Always start an ebook with an introduction, telling the readers who you are and what it is that you wish to convey through your ebook. Although, this doesn’t have to be long, a short story will be good.

Here are some guidelines to help with the titles. Pick a catchy title and use some words like ‘Secrets’ or ‘Never before seen’ or ‘Top 5 reasons’ in the title and make it attention grabbing. Once the titles are formed, content should be written based on those titles.

Try and ensure there is not too much fluff. Remember, people crave for information, give them as much as possible. This makes all the difference between a well-made information product and one that has been written just to make a few sales.

When writing for the first time, it is natural to feel awed by the whole process, but it sure doesn’t have to be that way. Time to get some ideas for the titles. If you are running out of ideas because you are new, read various articles on the topic of the chapter, writing down points all the time. Then expand on those points in your own words. The biggest mistake and one that will pull a writer down is copying content. There is no excuse for doing that. Taking ideas from other articles is fine, in fact it is good as it provides the much needed learning curve.

It is a lot of writing but staying focused is the key to succeeding in coming up with a great product!

Construction of each chapter becomes very important. Start off by telling them what you want to tell them. Then tell them about it and write the main content, advice and a few tips. At the very end of the chapter, summarize what you told them briefly and write a little about the next chapter.

That’s all there is to it! If you follow these steps you are on your way to creating a very profitable product!

The most popular affiliate payment plans

Affiliate networks usually represent hundreds of advertisers, and more importantly, they collect all of your earnings from the different vendors and pay with ONE check. Even if you make $5.00 with one program, $15.00 with a second, and $10.00 with a third one, you will get paid with one check!

There are two Affiliate brokers that any new entrepreneur should sign up with: ClickBank and Commission Junction (C.J.)

ClickBank Best Affiliate Network For Beginners

The most generous commissions one can earn is by promoting digital products such as ebooks and software. Sellers of these digital products offer up to 75% commissions and sometimes more because there is no shipping costs or physical inventory involved. After a payment has been made, customers will be able to download the ebook or software directly to their computers.

The best place to find such generous affiliate programs is Clickbank. ClickBank pays affiliates twice a month as long as their accounts have earned a minimum amount of $10.00.

ClickBank represents thousands of products, which are listed by ratings. You don’t have to understand all details of ClickBank ratings, just remember that products located on the first and second pages of each category are the leaders. The top ten to twenty products in each category have high conversion rates. These sites are very successful at converting Internet shoppers to buyers. What does that mean to you? More sales!

Foreign Language in Website

Think global. Who says you can only earn money from articles written in English? You might be interested in knowing that I actually make a lot of money from non-English content as well!

Here's a test: Quickly, name the top three search engines in the world.

You may have come up with something like: Google, Yahoo, and MSN, or something similar. But you are dead wrong if you did!

So? Translate your content into Chinese and get it indexed! Korea, Japan and Spain also all have gigantic, growing foreign language markets to make money in!

There are many language translation plug-ins available on the market for wordpress blogs or standard web pages. Translation software usually connects to one of 3 translation services (listed below) and can do real time translation for you.

• Google Translate (http://Google.com/translate)

• Yahoo! (http://babelfish.yahoo.com/)

• Altavista Babelbish (http://babelfish.altavista.com)

Alternatively to that method, you can get SYSTRAN desktop software to do translation for you offline. The three translation websites listed above, all run SYSTRAN technology, by the way.

Now, to take this technique one-step further to create a fail-safe way of making money in foreign markets is by including the original English-based content right after the foreign language content on the same page.

Why does that help? Because sometimes AdSense fails to come up with relevant ads in strictly foreign language pages and ends up displaying nothing at all! The simple reason for this is that there are much less advertisers in foreign languages. So by including the English version on the page, regardless of the actual foreign language content, your angle is now fail-proofed.

In final, what I've learned about the foreign language experiment is that, even though there are not that many ads in any given particular foreign language, people still click on them. My theory for this is that the translated text is probably butchered, and since the ads would become the only properly structured content on the page, naturally, they click it.

Hanging Out Earning An Online College Degree

Could you ever imagine hanging out at home by choice, and earning an online college degree in the process? Many people think that obtaining an online college degree is something that requires frequent trips to the computer lab and ongoing technical issues. It is anything but this way when you enroll in your choice of online college degree programs. The simple fact is that with a steady internet connection you can access the most powerful and effective programs. This sounds easy, but it does take effort. For the self-motivated, online programs are great ways to get an education.

The fact is that most online college degrees are based upon the self paced method that allows students to work at the time most convenient for them. Given that most self paced online programs are still in someway regimented by a timeframe, within this timeframe one can obtain an online college degree in a manner that suits the needs of the person and can still be somewhat flexible. This means that you will literally be able to login, and deal with every aspect of your online education, and your online college degree program specifically at a time suitable for you. This will allow you to meet your personal or professional needs while obtaining your degree.

Earning an online degree can be individually structured to meet your specific timetable. You will never have to take an online degree class at a time that is not going to work for you. Essentially, you will be earning your degree while allowing life's priorities to come first, and your education will fall into the place that is best suitable for you. This means that for most classes you will be able to work at night on your coursework if you have to work during the day, and vice versa if you have a night job. With the recent advancements in technology and broadband connections, one attending online degree programs can watch video and do coursework anytime in as much clarity as if it were being played on their television.

So what is the downside of being able to hang out and earn your online college degree at the time you prefer? The answer is that you still must do the work, which means that you must be self disciplined enough to deal with the intensity of being enrolled in college, and especially in a self paced online college degree program. This is not a great fit for everyone, as self paced does not mean no pace, and in order to earn your degree you must be prepared to work, and be prepared to make sacrifices, just as you would in any traditional college degree program

While earning an online degree is much different in scope and breadth than earning a traditional four-year degree, it is similar in the fact that both ventures require a considerable amount of work. This means that one must be prepared to give the online college degree as much effort on studies and the coursework as they would if enrolled in a traditional program. Taking advantage of the online college degree program's flexibility is the key.

Making Money With A Business Degree Online

Most people attending college will say they are pursuing their dream: to become an integral part of the vocation in which they are interested. Many will also admit that people attending school have the desire to make substantial money after graduation. In fact, the statistics show that those with an advanced degree make more money in their lifetimes than those without an advanced degree. One of the most popular degrees that can directly increase salary potential is the business degree online of your choice. The most popular business degree is the one that takes a short time to earn, and can offer substantial benefits. There is a business degree online for all educational backgrounds, and thus is universally appealing to those considering a career change, or simply want to enhance their personal marketability. For those that want to earn a graduate degree there is the business degree masters program, as well as several undergraduate programs that should be considered when researching business programs.

While some degrees can pose a cumbersome situation for the graduate, such as the liberal arts degree, others can directly be used to create income, like that of the business degree programs. The reason that any business degree online program is worth its weight is because of the real life lessons that are taught in the program. When one graduates, they can expect to utilize the lessons taught to help improve their situation financially. The degree may even be obtained to use as a tool to gain attention from potential employers. There is an opportunity for those with a business degree online to start their own business and use the information taught in the courses to build a successful business that prospers for years to come.

Utilizing a business degree online to create a small business is a common trait among graduates. There are plenty of business degree students that take what they learn in the online classroom and apply it directly to the real world in order to better profit from the situation. This means that people will make money by using the knowledge they have acquired from the business degree online classes they took in school, and the subsequent lessons that were learned from those classes. In fact, some programs encourage students to start a business while in school to test the theories they are being taught in their business classes. This means that many of the people currently enrolled in a business degree online program will start businesses before they even graduate college.

Whatever the case may be, the bottom line is that the online courses that you take now will greatly help you profit in the future, without getting in the way of your current schedule. With this course module you will be able to study when you need to, and take other classes at the same time to pursue your career. Whatever the schedule, most business degree online programs have a way to make it work. You have no real excuse not to take online business degree courses, as they can be a great benefit to you while fitting into your current schedule. Enrolling in these courses will only enhance your chances of creating an exciting future career

Making Ideas For Your Online Business

Essentially there are 5 tremendously powerful methods to make money online. These methods were not always available but have only become available due to the large amount of internet commerce being conducted each and every day online. While it is possible to make money, and lots of it, using other methods, these are in my opinion the best for 3 reasons. First, they are some of the cheapest methods around. Imagine running a business for an entire year where your total cost was less than $1 a day. Secondly, these methods are fast to implement. Some of the methods can have you up and running in hours, if not only a day or two. Lastly, these ideas are simple. When it comes to working online, simpler is better and complex is dead.

The 5 Best Money Making Ideas.

1. Making Money the Google Cash Way.

Google Cash is a term coined by Chris Carpenter. In his amazing ebook, he teaches you how to start a profitable advertising business by using Google Adwords to promote products to people using the Google search engine. The strategy is simple. You create ads to attract interested people. When they click on your ad you are charged for that click. The visitor is directed to your site where you can sell them your product or someone else's. The advantage is you get to leverage the Google traffic. You can purchase clicks for as low as 5 cents. Lastly, done properly, you can test dozens of different ads and campaigns allowing you to perfect your selling system.

2. Making tons of money selling someone else's stuff.

Affiliate marketing is the manner in which you market a product for someone else, known as the merchant. In return for providing a qualified buyer, the merchant agrees to pay you a commission. The beauty of this type of business is that you can take advantage of hot products, you can easily create a large cash flow by setting up dozens of small income streams promoting hundreds of products. In other words, the business is scalable. Once you learn to make money selling a product for one merchant, you can reproduce that for another. For this to work, the critical step that you need to master is getting traffic. An absolute master, who I consider the king of the affiliate business is James Martell. He is the author of The Affiliate Marketing Handbook (newly revised for 2005). James has hundreds of income streams and can teach anyone how to promote and sell products for merchants online.

3. Turn Treasure into Dollars with eBay.

In case this is your first week using the internet, I will briefly explain eBay. They are the world's largest online auction system. People from all over the world, lots of people, using it each and ever day to sell everything from toasters to Hummers. In order to make money on eBay, you research what is selling at the moment, source that product for at great price and then start creating auctions. Of course, that all sounds easy, but the truth is there is a lot of work involved, especially if you have to ship all those products from your house. If you are organized, can research or can use the software to do that research for you, and can negotiate with suppliers than you can really make money with eBay.

4. Drop Ship It.

The thought of storing boxes and boxes of products at your house may have you running away from eBay. Thank goodness there is something called Drop Shipping. A drop shipper is a wholesaler who will sell you their products at near wholesale prices and ship them directly to your customer. World Wide Brands maintains a directory of wholesaler and drop shipping companies giving you access to over 2 million products to sell on eBay. The good news is that once you have access to your own products, you can now use the first three methods to market them. Do you see the power now? Maybe you used the first two methods to market someone else's product. Now you can get a better profit margin by drop shipping your own products using these same methods.

5. Write yourself rich.

The first 4 methods involved selling someone else's products for a commission or profit margin. If you want to make the most money, you have to produce and sell your own products. An exceptional item to sell online is information. In particular, ebooks, software, audio and video products have incredible profit margins. But, you think, you have no writing skills. What are you to do? Easy, hire people to do the work for you. This is an amazing way to leverage the skills of someone else. Pretend you have an idea for a new software program. There is a site online called Rent a Coder where you can hire people to work for you. Depending on your product idea, you can get the software coded for $100, $200, maybe even $300. Then the product is yours to resell. You can keep 100% of the profits. You can do the same thing writing a book. Steve Manning offers a free course that will teach you how to write a book in as little as 14 days. I know that sounds to good to be true but it can be done. Most of Steve's students take longer than that on the first book but many admit that they can do it faster by preparing better at the beginning.

How To Be Different From Other eBay Sellers And Make More Money

If you really want to become a successful eBay seller, meaning that you want eBay to be a real business for you instead of just a hobby or a way for you to clean the clutter out of your house, youre going to need to make a shift in the way you sell on eBay.

Most people will sell anything on eBay that they can find as long it can make them money (and sometimes even if it wont).

If you try to run a business on eBay using this model of selling anything and everything, youre going to find yourself playing the low price game where youre always dealing with razor thin margins just so that you can get your products sold.

However, there is a way for you to have better than average margins on your products. And thats simply by specializing in a certain line of products.

Once you take the time to specialize in a particular area, such as beef jerky makers, video editing equipment, or violins, you can make yourself the expert in that area. Youll want to take an area that you are already knowledgeable in, or one where you that you dont mind learning about so you can be the expert.

Once youre an expert on the products that youre selling on eBay, you now have a competitive advantage over the other people that are trying to sell the same products that you are. Youll want to make sure that you make it clear to your potential customers what extras theyre going to get from you that they simply cant get from your competition. For example, it could be as simple as offering email support on setting up your products (if theyre the type of products that require it).

Another way to give yourself a big competitive advantage is to include a free bonus that youve created, such as an eBook, video, or podcast that youve done on the topic. For example, if you were in the beef jerky maker business, you could include an exclusive cookbook that youve written with your favorite recipes and tips on making great tasting jerky.

Once you've established your competitive advantage in the marketplace, you can demand higher prices than your competition and people will happily pay them. In some cases it might mean that you only get 5 or 10% more on a typical transaction, but that extra few percentage points can mean the difference between a product that you were only breaking even on to a profitable product. And in some cases, you can charge prices 3 to 4 times higher than your competition by showing your potential customers that theyre much better off buying from you because you specialize in those products and can offer better support than those who sell everything under the sun.

Involved in Online Scams? Trying to Make Fake Money ?

If you spend even only a little bit of time online, you know that the world is full of scams and get rich quick schemes. Maybe you've even fallen victim to a few. If you've been burnt, you've probably met others who have been too. Or maybe, you've been burnt so many times you've begun considering creating a scheme of your own?

DON'T!!

There's simply too much at stake. There is no "get rich quick" scheme out there that will work without YOU doing some work.

And if you spent that same amount of time on a legitimate online endeavor it will pay off just the same. So, why not have a program that you can believe in? One that offers products, services and stuff that people actually need and want. Stop trying to make fake money, and go for the real deal.

Rewards programs offer you real deals - not only free stuff, but free money too.

There are so many things that you can do with top online reward companies. You can:

Get paid for reading emails, get paid for completing online offers and trials, get paid for taking surveys, earn gift cards to your favorite stores and restaurants, earn free gas cards, earn cash back from shopping. Even better, some of the top rewards companies offer you stores that you'd normally shop at, with proven track records and stuff you really want. You can also earn cash by referring friends, relatives and associates to the rewards programs.

Before you try to make fake money or get involved with any other schemes, give reward programs an honest effort for a month. With a little effort on your part, you can make money and find success!

Is An Online Business Really Rewarding?

In the internet age, many people find themselves falling into the online business trap of thinking that it is easier to run and start up than those that work offline. While it is true that many online business opportunities take fewer funds to begin, the work is just as difficult.

Essentially, people who go into online businesses do not have the understanding needed to become a success. You may understand the internet and how it can allow you to have full access to the entire world right from your computer, you may think that it is just as easy to create a website and people will magically surf to it and purchase the products.
It is exactly this type of thinking that will lead those thinkers into a trap and become a victim of business opportunities that promise instant and easy money. One thing that needs to be realized is that if it was really as easy as that, they sure would not be telling you about it.
To better understand how the thinking should go, you should compare an online business with an offline business, at startup. Because you do not want to spend a great deal of money on starting your business, you will likely start your business in your home office. This is very similar to starting a business with a web site or domain name online. To begin with, all you really need is a name and some good content.
With any offline business venture, a service or product is needed. It is not natural to assume you can make money from anyone without giving him or her something in return. The same holds true for any online business. You have to have a service or product to offer your customers. This allows your business to generate customers and profit.
One you have begun offering your customers a valuable service or product, you will need to figure out how the money will come in. It does not happen automatically, you have to advertise your business to get the word out. People cannot read minds and know that you are there, you have to bring them to you. This is a true statement rather you operate an online business or an offline business. Promotion is the key.
As the business begins to flourish, you will have to have additional resources to help with the excess business that has arrived. This is true for both the offline and online world. As with an offline business, you may find that you have outgrown your current space and have a need for more. With an online business, you may require additional resources as well as the business continues to grow.
Any online business takes the desire, the effort and the time to succeed in the internet world. It does not occur overnight. Operating your own business can be a rewarding experience, it is important that you have a realistic approach to the whole project.

Adsense Blog Spam: A Major Cause For Concern

Spam blogs are an increasingly disturbing phenomena online, more so because spammers use them a lot to generate Adsense revenue.

Adsense Spam blogs as the name suggests, are those blogs that have very little or nothing in terms of content and are set up mainly to attract and drive traffic in a certain direction. The vast majority of these spam blogs carry Adsense ads because the purpose of the spammers is to generate lots of Adsense revenue in this illegal and unacceptable manner. Many Adsense spam blogs are set up for the sole purpose of creating hundreds of links pointing to a target blog so as to improve its' SEO ranking with leading search engines. The spam blogs also contain links pointing to one another, designed to maximize their illegal traffic in the network of spam blogs.

This Adsense spam blog menace has mainly hit popular service providers who host free blogs. Blogger.com, the most popular and host to millions of blogs has been the worst hit.

Adsense spam blogs are a growing menace and a very serious problem which is currently being fought off very aggressively by the folks at Blogger.com. Not only do these blogs unnecessarily occupy valuable space and resources that would be better utilized elsewhere but they threaten every user's enjoyment of the World Wide Web. Adsense spam blogs threaten every online business' long term future if they are not severely and firmly dealt with.

The Top 5 Ways To Make Money Online Or Just To Make A Living

There are many ways to make a living online.

Some ways to make money online are very obvious.

Some are not what you initially think of as the way to make money online, but are extensions of a normal business taken online. Some methods of making money online are easier than others. Other methods may seem more difficult, but in the long run are more successful.

Making a living online has a lot of potential.

While many people initially have the idea that it is an easy way to get rich fast, in truth, it can be far from that for most people. This has a lot to do with unrealistic expectations. Some of this is due to the numerous Internet marketing related products that are sold. While many are good, none of them will make you rich fast unless you put a lot of work into it. For most people who really stick to it, it seems a decent income can be made after putting a lot of work and effort into it. Along with good training.

Another reason people think about getting rich fast on the Internet are some of the true success stories out there.

Many see what seems like an instant, easy success like John Chow or Darrren Rowse. Yet, both of these individuals either had some experience online already or have taken a few years of diligent work to get their blogs to the level they are at now. In other words, success did not necessarily come overnight while they were sleeping.

For me, there are several things I really want from an online income (or any form of income).

I want time flexibility, to be able to to decide when I will work. I also want the freedom to work my business from other locations (Wisconsin winters are really starting to get me down). Of course, I do want to make a decent living to provide for my wife. The ideal business also allows for a residual income that will not disappear if I cannot work it for a period of time due to illness or extended vacation or even retirement eventually.

What I have done is made a list of what I think are the Top 5 ways to make money online.

I’ll let you know why I think they are so great. I am also going to list some advantages and disadvantages of some of them. I realize that some of them may seem very similar, so I’ll try to define what I think makes the difference as well as I can. There is a difference in my mind, so I’ll try to express it.

The Top 5 ways to make money online:

#5 eBay

When I say eBay, I mean purchasing products or drop shipping products for sale on eBay auctions. While this can be very honest form of income, it can become a real grind if you need to handle shipping. Also, if you do not have a unique product, you are also in one of the most competitive markets you will find.

In nearly any case, you will need to constantly pay attention to this business. When you do not have an auction running, you will not be making money.

#4 AdWords Type Affiliate Marketing

Also called search marketing or PPC (pay-per-click). One form of this type of Internet marketing is the Google Cash system but that is just one twist of it. This most likely involves running AdWords ads with Google although MSN and Yahoo also provide similar services. You run an ad to get readers to click though to your page where you sell the product or service of another company as an affiliate. Many make thousands of dollars a month doing this type of business.

The disadvantage of this type of Internet marketing is the need to constantly keep watch on the campaign. You must first create ads and landing pages that convert at a profit for the amount you pay for each click on your ads. This can be washed away in the next “Google slap.” Still, a very effective way to make money if you can handle the risk.

#3 Websites or Blogs

Probably the most popular method of online income. This method of making money online consists of developing Websites and blogs that are monetized. In this case, traffic comes from natural methods instead of PPC. Income may come from Adsense or affiliate ads on the Websites. Most likely, this is what most people think of when they think of making money the Internet.

Contrary to rumors, Adsense is not dead. It has made Google an empire and will be here for a long time. It is one of the easiest ways to make money. It may not be the best though. Many find selling affiliate products much more effective although it can be a little bit more involved.

While a blog will take daily posting and promotion, Websites will also take a lot of link promotion in order to generate income. A good website may provide some form of residual income once fully developed with a little bit of occasional maintenance. A blog is easier to promote and network though. Residual income from a blog could eventually come in the form of hiring paid writers for the blog and running it like a business.

#2 Developing Your Own Product

There are many options besides building the proverbial better mousetrap. There is a saying that everyone is an expert on something. You could put your expertise into an e-book. Perhaps you have an idea for useful software. Of course, you could also develop a non-digital product.

You may use some of the other methods to market your product. You may use PPC or just sell off a website. You may even pay other affiliates to sell your product. This does not have to be online only. You could sell your product with links to your Website in newspapers and other advertising media. Perhaps you will one day be running one of those infomercials on TV.

In the case of digital products, this can be a very residual income as long as your product is useful.

You will need to make sure your product stays up to date and competitive. If you develop hard goods, you will need to figure out production and delivery just like a regular business. Residual income in hard goods may come in the form of selling the business to retire.

No matter if you have a digital product or real world product or service, you will also need to think about customer service. No matter how good your product is, there will be those that complain. There are also going to customers with questions that will need to be answered. You will need some form of customer support.

While developing your own product may seem a lot more difficult than just putting up a website, it is a much more dependable business. You do not need to worry about Google or another company you are an affiliate for dropping you. Done right, you may even have a business that can be sold or inherited by your children.

#1 The Perfect Partnership

In my mind the perfect online business would be a partnership with a company that took care of all the problems of developing your own product. They would take care of updating products and keeping them competitive. They would take care of customer support. They company would took care of distributing it and taking the orders.

Of course the there are specific requirements for the product or products. It is going to need to be unique so people need to get it though you. It must be affordable for broad appeal. Ideally, the product is consumable so people order it regularly and there is a residual income from the customer reordering consistently.

A multi-tiered payout so you could get income from other affiliates under you would be nice. While this idea was once considered only in multi-level marketing, today even companies like Google are using it to promote with its Adsense affiliate program. I have not heard much good about the payout from Google with this though, and you are going to have to compete against Google itself for traffic for this.

This all adds up to a business you can build and not worry about constantly.

Something you can rely on. Something you could retire on. Something you can will to your children.

It is not easy to find such a business to work with. Few companies have the integrity and ethics to make it work. Few companies have a high reorder rate and the customer loyalty that would make it work.

Multi-level companies seem to want to front load potential partners with more product than they could personally use meaning you need to invest a lot of money before you can represent them.

Low reorder rates and poor customer loyalty are typical. Not too mention crazy business plans that tend to make it very difficult for the average person to make money. The tendency for only a few people to make money is why they are so often compared to outright illegal pyramids.

Many multi-level companies even shorted their own business partners online. A number of affiliate products for sale are multi-level marketing company products without. The affiliate does not even get the chance for repeat sales.

There are few companies that work with affiliates that have any type of residual payment for reorders.

While some affiliate products have what seems like a great payout for the initial sale, if the product is good, it is nothing to what the company will make on additional sales. Of course, many affiliate products are terrible anyways even if the customer never realizes it.

Creating A Website For A Real Estate Investor

The days have long gone when people depended only on yellow page advertisements or classifieds for real estate investments. Today investors get most of their leads from websites and online resources. If you are in the real estate business, you will be missing a whole lot of deals, as well as credibility, if you do not have a website that caters to the needs and demands of investors. Creating a website is a low cost and highly effective way to take your business ahead.

Benefits Of having Your Own Website

Showcasing Your Properties
With a functional website, you can display your properties for sale or rent. Prospective investors should be able to view the properties, their descriptions, and other relevant information online. Pictures of the properties in question will high light all their features.

Building Your Own Investor Base
You can build your base of investors by getting all visitors to fill out a form. You can easily inform all your prospective customers by sending them emails about newer properties on the market.

By creating your own professional website you increase your credibility with sellers, buyers, and investors.

The Importance Of Creating Your Own Website
The way people communicate has changed over the years and you need a website to market your company successfully. Your website gives potential customers an avenue to learn about real estate offered, in a noninvasive way.

Your website is available to potential investors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. You are always available through your website, globally, whenever someone tries to access it online.

The only way to attract motivated people to your website is to create a professional one. Your website should be created in a way that is easy for novices to maneuver through. There are two major things to keep in mind when creating a website: Professionalism and Functionality.

Envision what you want your website to look like. Create a website that understands the needs and expectations of the investors. Appoint a web developer to help you visualize on paper what each and every page of your website will look like, such as the contents, navigation, images, pictures, and links.

Ensure that your developer understands the importance of creating and building an interactive website. One that is compatible with your vision. An interactive website is a user friendly website, which encourages your potential investors to come back again and again.

There are companies offering services such as software to help people develop websites. However, unless you are very knowledgeable in this area you should rely on professionals.

Ever-Increasing Pay Per Click Fraud

Both search engines, Google and Yahoo!, differentiate their paid listings from their free, contextual (otherwise known as "organic" results), usually by featuring the "sponsored links" searches on a different part of the page and by highlighting them in colored boxes. This is one of the quickest ways to pull lots of prospective customers to your web site and to get listed prominently in major search engines. If a visitor clicks on the advertisement served by Google AdSense or Yahoo! Search Marketing Solutions, the publisher/webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the revenue that the advertiser is paying Google for the click.

However, both these PPC search engines also experience intermittent, yet explained, "spikes" that demolish your daily or monthly budget in a matter of minutes or hours. It's a little unnerving knowing that you could dissipate a couple thousand dollars in a matter of minutes with absolutely no recourse. Adequately staffed to handle these anomalies, both engines feature customer service representatives who often reply to such technical idiosyncrasies with hostile ambivalence. Both of these search engines employ software that will detect if the person who is advertising, for example, with adsense, they can determine if you are the one committing click fraud, whether by accident or on purpose and will stop those clicks from counting for you.

Sounds like an oxymoron, but it's not - Pay per click fraud is widespread, and prevalent. One of the main reasons that pay per click fraud is so rampant is that there are actually legitimate pieces of software that can used to commit pay per click fraud, although that was not the original intent for their creation. For instance, a click fraud artist may claim that he is just stress testing his analytics software program to ensure that it will catch click fraud. I won't mention which software programs commit click fraud, although a little investigation may turn them up.

Part of the problem with click fraud is that there are not yet any laws on the books dealing with the problem. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) claims that they cannot really do anything about the problem because they are tasked with investigating consumer fraud, and cannot fit pay per click fraud into this category. However, the Department of Justice in the United States does have a rapidly growing division that deals with cases of Internet crime, and pay per click fraud will eventually come under their purview. The difficulty is that, even if you suspect you are a victim of click fraud, the onus generally falls on you to prove that it exists and to find those responsible. This is not an easy task.

The Truth about Online Income

Easy money is what everybody is so crazy about. The problem with most people is that they tend to find ways that will give them the opportunities to earn money easily. They pass over the fact that easy money is never effective. They tend to overlook the reality behind earning money.

This is the reason why most people fall for scams and fraudulent activities. They tend to believe that there really is a possibility to ìget rich quickî just by doing things online.

The problem is there are so many get rich schemes in the Internet but none of them is proven to be very effective. This is because like any other businesses, anything that transpires in the Internet also entails hard work, persistence, determination, and the right skills and marketing strategy.

However, the fact, still, remains the same. There are many easy ways to earn money but not necessarily a quicker way. Being easy and quick are two different things that people should be aware of.

The Concept of ìGet Rich Quickî

Whatever people say about earning money online, they just could not make it possible to really earn money quickly. Even if a person keeps on sticking with the fact that someday, his online moneymaking opportunity will soon let him achieve success.

In reality, there are many ways how to earn money easily. There is the eBay, wherein you can easily dispose that item that took you so many years to get rid of. It will be the best way t earn money at the same time clear your garage from unwanted items.

You can also join paid surveys online. There are sites that focus more on online surveys, in which the results are beneficial to their company. That is why they are willing to pay even up to a hundred dollar just to get some people answer their surveys.

All of these things connote easy money making scheme online but it does not necessarily mean that you also earn money that quick.

The truth about online income is that it also entails the right combination of skills and attitude just like what you would normally do when you are finding ways how to earn money in real life.

The problem with most people is that they do not know the real concept behind the success in online business. They do not know what are the things needed in order to earn money online. They should know that success in online marketing and just like any businesses is not a destination but a process.

Earning money online is a step-by-step process of learning what to do first and gradually increasing knowledge about online income. There are no shortcuts or quicker ways to reach the top. Everything that you do should be in accordance to what you have done in the past.

Take for example the case of an online business. It is not possible that people should literally start from scratch because with online businesses, you have to employ the necessary details like software and programs that will help you start your business.

From that point of view, little by little you have to start your way by making baby step to secure your futureís online income.

Usually, people have to start with a website first. Then, they have to employ the necessary programs that will help their website generate traffic. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The point here is that people, still, have to work hard in order to get the online income they want to obtain. They have to exert enough effort to gain the success that they want.

So, for people who wish to know the truth behind online income, here is a list of some facts that you need to know to keep you going with your virtual life.

1. Earning online income is never possible with scams and frauds. This means that you will never earn the reasonable income that you want without even exerting effort or working hard.

2. For every scam that you encounter, chances are, there are greater probabilities that the person is not even exerting any effort to take part with your money reasonably.

3. The ìget rich quickî statement is invented by a loser.

4. Online income is fully dependent on a niche market. Simply put: no market = no sales.

5. Earning money online is more of having fun and not just focusing on getting money quick.

The bottom line is that people should know that even if it takes some simple clicks and ìdot comsî to get your life easier than before, you should still work hard because it is where you can get the gratification that you need.

Besides, money earned in a quick way is bound to be lost quickly, too.

6 Things You Must Do To Automate Your E-Business To Increase Your Profits And Get Your Life Back!

1. Build Targeted Email Lists
You must build your own targeted lists of subscribers. This is easily done using autoresponders that let you sequentially send a series of messages to your subscribers. Entice these subscribers to join your list by giving them a valuable product/service in return. Last and certainly not least, set this process up to run without you ever having to touch it again - automate it.

2. Track your advertising campaigns.
You MUST do this to keep track of your expenses and profits. Tracking can tell you where your visitors are coming from and what they are buying. It can also tell you which of your affiliates are performing really well, and which ones need your help. Tracking your ads can also point out how well your JV-deals are performing. It can let you know where and where NOT to place your ads.

3. Setup a Newsletter.
Setup a newsletter or niche ezine to capture emails. You can even set this up on your own domain. Set up what's called an" auto-niche ezine". This could be a X-day training course, or an ezine that you publish quite frequently. The trick to this is to create about 8 or 9 messages before you begin accepting subscribers. This way if you use your autoresponder to send weekly messages, you'll always be several messages ahead of the game. I suggest sending weekly, with mailings no less than 3 days apart - unless you're offering a training course where the information can be assimilated and applied quickly. Even here, you should give your readers a chance to digest the information.

4. Setup an affiliate program.
There are several people out there who would rather market other peoples' HOT products, rather than create their own. This is great for you, if you're running your own quality affiliate program. Select a program that allows you to not only offer your affiliates an affiliate link to promote, but one where you can train your affiliates to sell your product. Guess what? You can use autoresponders for that too.
Simply create a series of messages that teach your affiliates how to promote. You should also allow your affiliates to use your text and images (banners, etc.) to promote for you. Also, it would be really bottom-line affecting if you and your affiliates could track your ad campaigns. That is the icing on the cake and some pretty good icing too. You and your affiliates get to zero in on the most effective and least effective advertising methods and adjust your campaigns accordingly.

5. Use proper product management
Some people don't understand this one. You should use shopping carts for physical products, not digital ones. Your credit card processing and product delivery should be secure and efficient. If you're selling digital products (ebooks, software, etc.), make sure your customer downloads are secure so people cannot steal from you. Yep - people steal on the Internet. The ideal download link is one that is encrypted and that expires after a certain time period - say 24 hours. This gives your customer plenty of time to download their new product.
For physical products, your shopping cart should be responsive and searchable. The layout should be simple and intuitive. If you offer your customer options such as colors and/or sizes, make sure this is easy for them to follow and integrates seamlessly with your cart.

6. Follow-up promptly and professionally
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) can make you or it could break you. You must always practice prompt and courteous communication with your prospects and customers. A good practice is to use an autoresponder and/or help-desk system to follow-up with your customers and to offer them support. An auto-responder with a simple message stating, "Thank You for your inquiry. Someone will contact you shortly...." could work wonders for your image. It could also be that extra something that makes a customer remain loyal and/or refer you to their friends and family.

A Support/Ticketing system with pre-formatted answers to commonly asked questions can cut your response time dramatically. This is especially powerful if mail-merge functionality is included as well. Mail-merge is a way of automatically including things like the customer's name and email address, etc in your message. In your auto-responder it would look like this: "Hello $firstname, thank you for buying our widgets! We love you!"

7. Use a single all-in-one ecommerce solution to mange your business
An Internet business is probably the easiest and most profitable business in the world to setup. However, careful planning and execution can ensure your e-business does not become a burden on you and your loved ones. E-Business Automation is the answer to this problem. it allows you to put your e-business on FULL auto-pilot and streamline your efforts. You can automate your entire e-business from the customer's first click to the sale, to the follow-up after the sale, and beyond. You can even train affiliates, plus manage multiple auto-ezines. The power that e-business automation gives you to focus your attention on other things is unbelievable. Try it out, you'll never go back to manually managing everything in your e-business again!

I whole-heartedly recommend e-business (website) automation for the amount of time & money it will save you in your e-business!

An integrated all-in-one ecommerce solution that offers all of the most popular, and most desired ecommerce features and tools is the only way to go. You want to work smarter, not harder!

Bidding On Ebay: When It Pays To Know The Rules

With the dawn of the new era of technology, the Internet has evolved in such haste that people find shopping online an alternative. That's why eBay is considered as a viable place to bid on things that they want to acquire.

The nature of eBay is based on the bidding concept of shopping. People need to bid on the item first before they can have the rights to purchase it. To make online shopping a lot more convenient, eBay uses an automated bidding system that facilitates the auction. The bottom line is that the highest bidder gets the chance to buy the item.

Shopping on eBay is relatively easier than when doing it on a traditional market. However, it could be a little more complicated especially if the bidder doesn't know how to do it properly.

Hence, it's a must for every bidder to know the process and equip himself with the principle of creative bidding.

The first consideration when bidding on eBay is the item itself. Bidders should be aware of its composition from the price down to its technical details. This is to assure themselves that what they are trying to obtain is worthy of their money.

Bidders should also take note of the descriptive details of the item. They should assess themselves if they can tolerate any blemish on the item such as scratches, slight cracks, or dents.

It's also a must for every bidder to do a little background investigation on the seller based on the seller's feedbacks, demographic profile, and the other items that were already sold on his or her behalf, if there's any. This is to ensure the buyer if it's safe enough to proceed with the bidding process.

Consequently, the potential buyer should contemplate on the item first before bidding. The buyer should make it a point that he or she is ready to purchase the item in case he won the bid. This is because the bid is already deemed as a contract that will bind the buyer to an agreement that he or she would have to buy the item in the event that they got the highest bid.

The buyer may also opt to wait until the wee hours of the listing period before bidding, that is, if he or she is really determined to get the product.

Bidding on eBay could be an exhilarating activity while shopping online; yet, it could also be a buyer's worst nightmare if done inappropriately. So, it's a must that a buyer takes bidding on eBay a serious matter to avoid any trouble

Pay Per Click Affiliate Power Tricks

If you want to be a pay per click affiliate and win big in the pay per click game, it all boils down to: 1) how well you have chosen your keywords, 2) how well you write your ads, and 3) how much "insider knowledge" you possess about the PPC game.

Realize right now that "insider knowledge" is for sale. Anyone willing to invest $177 to $260 can purchase the information and software that the most successful players are using.

Choosing the right keywords is best accomplished by using a professional tool. A lot of people use the free keyword tools; and since so many people do that, they all swim around in the same pond.

The key to winning the pay per click affiliate game is to be a lone fish in a lone pond where there is no competition. So my advice is, first of all, to stay away from promoting the same popular products that 50 million other people are promoting.

My second bit of advice is to stay clear of the keywords that all the other players are using and paying top dollar for. To find those inexpensive keywords you will need a powerful internet tool, one which is not available for free.

You need to go deep and find those magic keywords that are specific to your market which nobody else is using, then your competition will simply not exist. Your cost per click will be correspondingly low, and that means your return on investment will be off the chart.

So you really must play the pay per click affiliate game on a higher level.

What usually separates the winners from the losers is an investment. The winners online have invested in some good internet tools and paid for some valuable knowledge. Losers are afraid to invest enough money to win the game.

If I had it to do over again, and people ask me this from time to time, "What would you do if you had to start from scratch to make a lot of money in the pay per click affiliate game?" I tell them what I'm going to tell you, dear reader.

"What I would do is invest in some first rate software to separate me from the herd. I would use a couple of dynamite internet tools as leverage to win the pay per click affiliate game. And I would play a game where there were not very many players."

To find out which software the pros use, and which you too can use to separate yourself from the herd, you will have to visit my web site.

There's not much more to say than, "Invest in the software." It costs a few bucks, but it's going to pay for itself the very first day of your PPC campaign.

Use this software to build huge keyword lists. But more importantly, you can use this software to uncover the keywords that your competitors are NOT using.

You will also need to invest in some insider knowledge. But knowing which ebooks to purchase is also difficult because there are so many bad ones out there.

That being said, I have purchased a few ebooks that were worth the dough. There are a couple of ebooks that are full of hard hitting, down and dirty tricks to make you a healthy income with a few weeks work and experimentation. Getting a hold of the right ebooks is like getting hold of the keys to Fort Knox.

Once you know the methods that the guys making all the money are using, you can use the methods to make the kind of income they make. It's not unusual to make $300 a day after implementing a few explosive pay per click affiliate marketing techniques.

You've got to invest in some insider knowledge so you can leverage yourself into a position of power. Knowledge can be bought.

You owe it to yourself, if you're going to dump money into Google Adword campaigns, to invest in some information that will make a big difference in your pay per click affiliate results.

Well, there you have it. Invest in the right software and you will see a major improvement in your Pay Per Click Affiliate Campaigns. Use the right tools and insider knowledge to sky rocket your revenue.

Is It Still Possible To Make Money On The Internet?

Many people are saying that the internet is dead. So is there still money to be made on the Internet?

The answer is a definite YES.

Research shows, time and again, that consumers want to spend more online, and that the internet is fast becoming an integral part of their lifestyle and it'll continue to be so. Internet consumers are cautious and they want sites that are credible and worth shopping before they part with their money.

The traditional brick-and-mortar rules of business still apply to internet business. It's prudent to remember that the internet is not your business goal; it's a medium in helping you achieve your business goals.

Adhere to my following Rules and you'll be on your way to building a viable, sustainable and successful internet business.

1. Develop a viable business plan

The biggest reason why so many dotcoms failed is an inadequate business plan of how and when they will achieve profitability. To have a successful and sustainable internet business, developing a viable business plan from the outset is crucial.

Your plan must have a clear and sincere vision that has meaning to you and your business. Your main focus should be to 'plan to profit within a set period of time' and this would require you to allow time for thoughtful researching, planning, execution and testing. You'll need to test out your business model first and ensure that it's viable and sustainable.

Don't make the same mistakes that many dotcoms made - trying to build a global brand before their business model even worked as it'll lead you into receivership faster.

Regardless of how fanciful and good your website is, if your aim is not to make profit, you'll go out of business.

2. Model someone successful

It's always wise to learn from the mistakes of other people rather than to learn from your own mistakes as this can sometimes be very costly and painful.

Track and learn from benchmarked success stories, be they your competitors or otherwise. Why would you want to spend time re-inventing the wheel when you can learn from those who have already been there and done it successfully. Learn how they design their website, create products, write salescopy, their sales process, etc.

3. Focus on a niche market

Don't be everything to everybody by trying to dominate a huge and general market because you just simply can't do it effectively.

Focus your internet business on a targetable portion of the market or a narrowly defined group of potential customers. Address the need for a product or service that's not being addressed by mainstream providers. The advantage of this is that it's less competitive in such a market as large businesses won't want to be in it.

For this to be effective, the market niche that you're targeting must be fast moving, its customers accessible and there mustn't already be a dominant player in that particular market niche.

The key here is to find a niche market, assess the needs of the market and then offer them your products and/or services that meet their needs.

4. Differentiate your business

To capture a larger market share and be viable, sustainable and profitable, you need to differentiate or distinguish your business from your competitors; make your business special in the eyes of your customers and/or prospects.

You can do this by creating what's called a Unique Selling Propostion or USP and then effectively convey that USP to your target market via your marketing efforts and business performance.

This's particularly crucial if you're operating in a highly competitive market.

A USP is the one thing or idea that sets your business favourably apart from your competitors. Think about these questions: "What's the one thing that makes your business unique and distinct? Why should people buy from you and not from your competitors? Do you promise great value, benefit or service?"

Your USP is the focal point around which the success and profitability of your business is built and so you must be able to state it and fulfill it honourably and effectively.

5. Spent your funds wisely

Costs is one of the major determinant of your internet business's survivability. You'll need to carefully track and control your costs from the outset and make sure you can start to show a profit soon, as unmindful spending with no thought given to incoming resources will bleed you to death.

Credible websites not only require money to set up but also to maintain; advertisement costs money. Driving traffic to your website where you lose money on sales made is suicidal. Do your sums; consistently refer back to your vision to ascertain whether an expense is warranted or meaningful.

6. Superior customer service

In addition to a viable business plan, a superior customer service will be key to your success.

Superior customer service must be a high priority in your action plan. Build a trusting and long lasting relationship with your customers and prospects, send your staff for customer service training, fulfill your orders promptly, and constantly remind yourself the reason of your very existence.

This is crucial as it costs five times more to win a new customer than it costs to keep an existing customer. Moreover, a dissatisfied customer will tell, on average, five or six people about your bad service. The point I'm driving at here is that looking after your customers saves money and boosts profits.

Learn and apply what I teach you, do it right, and you'll rise above your competition and blow them out of the water in no time.

Make More Money with PPC Publishing

PPC publishing is becoming one of the best ways to advertise on the internet. More and more companies are realizing the advantages of advertising this way, and the ranks of users swells daily. Here are 5 key ways toward the best PPC publishing for your dollar.

1. Think niche advertising. Because you will need a website that appeals to someone, make if something that will draw a lot of interest and people who will want to click on the ads placed there. Include good content and photos if you can for the best PPC publishing results

2. Use a visually pleasing design. Dont think bright colors and flashing banners are the key to success here--mostly, people just click off sites like that. Look at the most successful companies out there and how they have their websites designed. No pink bold text on black backgrounds? Theres a reason. In fact, check the websites of companies that are somewhat related to your websites theme and emulate them.

3. Uncluttered ad placement and size. Keep them to the left of the screen, since people read left to right, and dont overload a page with them. If there are too many, no one will read them. Think simple and clean for the best PPC publishing designs.

4. Write relevant and informative material. The best PPC publishing out there revolves around content. Use good keywords and keyword phrases, and keep it simple and to the point.

5. Do not pad your clicks, ever! Your advertising will be shut down immediately. This is cheating, and if you have used the best PPC publishing practices, you dont need to do this. Besides, why make more work for yourself? Take that time to develop more content so you can have more room for ads.

Use Your Skills To Your Advantage - Work At Home

Work at home assembly can be a fun and profitable endeavor. Most of the companies offer such positions use the skills that you have acquired previously. Some will even teach you how to assemble their products with step-by-step guides and easy-to-follow directions. Many will send you the required parts at little or no cost. You will not have to do the selling, simply send the finished product back to them.

Work at home assembly is part of the growing movement of work at home jobs. It is estimated that over 20 million people perform some type of work at home job, either full-time or part-time. Working at home definitely has advantages over outside employment. For parents of pre-school children, staying at home saves the expense of day care and other forms of babysitting. Parents of school-aged children can be home when they come home from school. Also, those with medically disabled members in their family can take care of their loved ones while working at the same time.

Work at home assembly of products is part of the growing market in hand made items. Many companies that offer hand made items cant supply enough workers to fill orders. Assemblers can make the products right out of their homes and usually for less cost than hiring workers. Also, machines cant duplicate hand made work.

Here are a few examples of work at home assembly products.

Christmas tree ornaments

Affiliate Program And Internet Marketing

Are you looking for an affiliate program to start making extra money? The Internet is a massive and powerful tool for the initial development of business-oriented online, marketing multilevel, electronic commerce, advertising online.

The first thing you have to know and I certainly recommend for all potential affiliates newbie, it is to find a way to make money while you are in the process of learning. The home income Internet work demands some work. And affiliate programs are the best way to earn some commissions online while you constantly learn.

Affiliate programs are one of the things that the open availability of the World Wide Web has made possible. An affiliate program is based on the mutual agreement of two parties, called the advertiser and the publisher or affiliate. The advertiser pays the affiliate for every specific event, determined previously.

As an active member of an affiliate marketing program, you have the opportunity to earn doing your work. Web affiliates are responsible for driving traffic to sites ending in an international sale. When a sale is made, web affiliates actually makes money off of that the particular sale, a small portion of the profit or a commission. Affiliates are paid virtually nothing else for their trouble.

Your work than is facilitating to drive traffic to the original business site that is being converted into sales. Then there is used to drive the traffic to that site and the affiliate is paid.

Affiliate programs also work on a tier basis. You can have affiliates working under you, and in that instance you make a portion of what they would make off of a particular sale, without even having anything to do with it except that you were the person who referred them.

It is important to provide newbies with a stick it is a long way to start making money on Internet after to enter an affiliate program. It is not one click and an overnight getting rich. That mistake causes many people get out of a work at home based business opportunity at the first month.

The fact is that most people don't make a whole lot of money doing it part time, but a person who has the right marketing mind and invests enough time and energy into their affiliate program might be able to make a few bucks.

The fundamental word here is advertisement. You will have do find profitable affiliate products and get your unique affiliate link.

Sooner or later everyone realizes that they must have their own domain name, mainly to personalize their products. Free web site templates are great when you have a short budget. However, it is limited to show your personal entrepreneur and to sell with complete assurance. It is important to you start a legitimate work at home based business opportunity.

Then, you will generate affiliate keyword list, write affiliate articles and submit the articles at the same time to the major article directories. With that in mind you shall have a good initiation on Internet marketing.

How Do I Get Traffic To My Website?

Internet Marketing requires you to sale other peoples products or services, or if you have decided to create your own product, sale your own. But whether you are selling your own or others, we all have one thing in common getting traffic to our websites. But what is most important is not just getting traffic, but targeted traffic. Thus, How Do you or I get traffic to our sites?

In my early beginnings on the Internet, I tried many methods of getting traffic to my website. I was definitely a newbie in training some of the software or services that I bought did me no good. I found, at times, that it was truly difficult to decipher which was a good deal and which was not who was honest, and who was not but I guess it goes with the Internet territory and you must always do your due diligence.

However, I have found three methods of getting traffic to my site or affiliate product or service Buying it PPC, such as Google, Mamma, Overture, linking or the hard one Search Engine Optimization.

Pay-Per-Click

If you have the money to invest in Google or some of the other search engines pay-per-click programs you can make some money. Here you create an ad or ads relevant to your affiliate program, and place a bid on the keywords you select. This takes time, energy, persistence and money and research. Also, I would advise that you read your affiliate programs rules, as well as, the rules of Google Adwords before jumping into the pay-per-click arena. You usually have to put aff after your ad or something similar to that its dependent upon the affiliate program you are in. The idea with pay-per-click is that you pay only when the individual clicks on your ad.

Linking

Linking can be by either paid or unpaid methods. The paid methods are paying for your link to be shown in Ezines, newsletters or on other peoples sites. It can be costly, so the best suggestion that I can give you is to research the Ezines, newsletters and or other people sites that you want to link with before buying. In most cases, if ezines are accepting advertising, you know they must have at least 500+ subscribers, or I should say, be sure that they have at least 500+ subscribers before advertising in their ezine. Know what you are getting before you put your money down and as they always say, be sure to read the fine print.

The unpaid method is through article creation. This requires hard work on your part, but the return will be seen in the long term. Keep in mind, your articles should be relevant and address the subject matter of your site and products. Content reigns king on the Internet and if it is relevant to their needs they will eventually come to read.

Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization is basically the optimization of your web pages so that you can get a decent ranking by the search engines, and thus, to pull people to your website by it relevance. This is a difficult chore and needs to continually be worked at and within the ethics of the Search Engines.

To conclude, getting targeted people to your site is really part of growing your business. And Internet marketing well, its not for the faint-hearted, but for the determined, persistent individual who wants to really make a living on-line. Thus, if you really want to make a living on-line dont give up and promote.

The Best Ways to Make Money With Ebay Income

EBay has become such a lucrative source of money for so many people that it has also become one of the most important online retailers. In fact, even you can make money at home with productive EBay income. How can you do this? It is fairly simple. Here are a few tips that can both make you a good seller and make your products effective, helping you make more productive EBay income:

1.Dont sweat the big stuff. Yeah, maybe big electronics sell for more money, but how much are they going to cost you to ship? Leave these large, heavy items for the big sellers and concentrate yourself on products that are both lightweight, small in size, and valuable. This will lower your total cost to yourself and increase your profit as well as attract more buyers because you will be able to lower shipping cost. This is an important step for making productive EBay income.

2. Write powerful sales ads. This may not seem like an easy step, but using powerful words and bold letters as well as writing good ads for the items you are selling is imperative if you are looking to make productive EBay income. Use words that describe the items in the most favorable light possible, and avoid negative adjectives. Also, use capitals and bold letters to draw your readers attention to important information.

3.Find your niche. You want to sell something that is not being oversold already. You may not be able to compete with the big wholesaling companies that are making use of EBay and gross thousands of dollars in sales per day, but if you find an appropriate niche, you wont need to. Try to find a product that is being undersold, or that you see a market for.

Tips for Using Affiliate Programs on your Blog

We’ve now looked at a number of popular affiliate programs for bloggers and today I’d like to finish off this series by giving a few tips that should help bloggers get the best results out of any affiliate program that they choose to run with.

1. Consider your Audience - It almost goes without saying - but it’s worth putting yourself in your readers shoes and consider what they might be looking for as they surf by your blog. Are they shopping for specific products? Might they be looking for related products or accessories? What would trigger them to purchase? Start with your reader in mind rather than the product. If you take this approach you could end up doing your reader a favor as well as making a few dollars on the side.

2. Genuine Recommendations and personal endorsements always work best. There are literally hundreds of thousands of products and services for you to choose from to recommend to your blog’s readers but making money from them is not as simple as randomly adding links to them from your blog. Your blog’s readers come back to your blog day after day because something about you resonates with them - they have at least some level of trust and respect for you and perhaps the quickest way to destroy this is to recommend that they buy something that you don’t fully believe will benefit them.

The best results I’ve had from affiliate programs are where I give an open and honest appraisal of the product - including both it’s strengths and weaknesses. The most successful affiliate program I’m involved with here at ProBlogger is Joel Comm’s e-book which I reviewed here. If you read the review you’ll see that I not only tell readers who I believe the book is for but I also mention those it is NOT for. In a sense I critique it. On a surface level one might think that this wasn’t a wise move and that I should have given a glowing review - however the sales that I’ve had through the program have proven otherwise. People want to know what they are buying first and even if they know a product has limitations they will buy it if it meets their particular need.

3. Link to Quality Products - We all like to make sure we’re buying the best products money can buy - your readers are no different to this and are more likely to make a purchase if you’ve found them the best product for them. Choose products and companies with good reputations and quality sales pages. There is nothing worse than giving a glowing review of a product only to send your reader to a page that looks cheap and nasty.

4. Contextual Deep Links work Best - When I started using the Amazon Associate Program I naively thought that all I had to do was put an Amazon banner ad (that linked to Amazon’s front page) at the top of my blog. I thought that my readers would see it and surf over to Amazon and buy up big - thereby making me a rich man. Nothing could have been further from reality - I was deluding myself.

I always says to bloggers that I’m consulting with that they should learn something from contextual advertising when it comes to affiliate programs. The secret of contextual ads like Adsense is that a reader is reading a post on a particular topic on your blog and when they see an advertisement for that same product they are more likely to click it than if they saw an ad for something else. The same is true for affiliate programs. A banner to a general page on every page on your site won’t be anywhere near as effective as multiple links throughout your blog that advertiser products that are relevant for readers reading particular parts of your blog.

So if you’re writing a blog about MP3 players and have a review for a particular product - the most effectively affiliate program that you could link to from within the content of that page would be one that links directly to a page selling that specific model of MP3 player. This is how I use the Amazon program today. It is more work than contextual advertising because you’re not just putting one piece of code into a template but rather need to place individual links on many pages - but I find that it’s been worth the effort.

5. Consider positioning of links - One of the things I go on and on about with Adsense optimization is the positioning of ads. I tell bloggers to position their ads in the hotspots on pages (like the top of a left hand side bar - or inside content - or at the end of posts above comments etc). The same principles are true for affiliate advertising.

6. Traffic levels are Important - While it’s not the only factor - traffic levels are obviously key when it comes to making money from almost any online activity. The more people that see your well placed, relevant and well designed affiliate links the more likely it is that one of them will make a purchase. So don’t just work on your links - work on building a readership. Not only this, consider how you might direct traffic on your blog toward pages where they are more likely to see your affiliate links.

7. Diversify without Clutter - Don’t put all your affiliate efforts into one basket. There are plenty of products out there to link to so there is no need to just work on one. At the same time you shouldn’t clutter your blog up with too many affiliate program links. If you do so you run the risk of diluting the effectiveness of your links and could disillusion your readership.

8. Be Transparent - Don’t try to fool your readers into clicking links that could make you money. While it may not always feasible to label all affiliate links I think some attempt should be made to let people know what type of link they are clicking on. I also think consistency is important with this so readers of your blog know what to expect. For example here at ProBlogger usually put a note beside or under affiliate links to simply let readers know that that is what they are. On my Digital Camera Blog I don’t do this because of the large number of such links make it clear by the text around the link that clicking on it will take them to some sort of shop or information where a purchase is possible (ie a link my say ‘buy the XXX product’ or ‘get the latest product on XXX’.

9. Combine with other Revenue Streams - Affiliate programs and advertising programs are not mutually exclusive things. I’ve come across a few people recently who have said they don’t want to do affiliate linking because it will take the focus off their Adsense ads. While there is potential for one to take the focus off the other - there is also real potential for both to work hand in hand as different readers will respond to different approaches. You should consider the impact that your affiliate links have on other revenue streams - but don’t let one stop the other.

10. Track results - Most affiliate programs have at least some type of tracking or statistics package which will allow you to watch which links are effective. Some of these packages are better than others but most will at least allow you to see what is selling and what isn’t. Watching your results can help you plan future affiliate efforts. Keep track of what positions for links work well, which products sell, what wording around links works well etc and use the information that you collect as you work plan future affiliate strategies.
